LEARN, UNLEARN & RELEARN
Alwin Toffler argued that “The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn and relearn.”
Living in the 21st century, you are getting triggered by this quote, aren’t you?
In this post-modern 21st century, the mundane form of learning, that is, the ability to read and write does not hold value anymore. It is more about whether you possess the capability to unlearn and relearn your knowledge. For example, I always thought back in school that there are two sexes: the male and the female.
Later, I unlearned that concept and relearned the fact that transsexual is another form of sex that we need to acknowledge. Hence, any kind of rigidity or orthodoxy in terms of learning will cause a huge downfall in this postmodern era. It is important to figure out the drastically changing psychological impacts of learning.
Why must you ask? Well, we are now living in the tech era where developments and upgrades are taking place every minute. Every rigid concept is debunked and even “facts” are constantly changing in this high-tech society.
How must we unlearn then? Well, it’s never too late to start! Look for the best resources that give you credible and reliable information about a topic. Read smart, understand better and become aware.
Pathways in one of such platforms will provide you with the best credible and reliable resources of a topic, according to your interest and strengths. Fall back upon Pathways to drive you to the right path! Learning is never stagnant. It evolves and renews every day. Unlearn and relearn, with Pathways!
