Research shows that a huge amount of people experience negative thoughts about themselves because they are not self-motivated enough or unable to achieve the self-selected aim to increase their productivity. This can obviously lead to a very frustrating work process that doesn’t seem to be leading anywhere.
A lot of us struggle with this supreme idea of “Productivity”. And you would be surprised to know how much of it can be achieved if you have the right mindset and a clear goal. It all boils down to your thought process and how you approach things. This is why it is time to get creative with your thinking and become productive in a more impactful way.
Creative thinking in one line means thinking differently and adapting your mindset to a way that is prepared to explore new avenues to achieve the Productivity you are looking for. For example, rather than a basic way of doing something, think about what can be the different way to do it? A perspective that can get new and better results, is more efficient and also a plan that is fun to execute!
How do you do it? Follow some simple steps here:
1. DO NOT STOP YOURSELF FROM EXPLORING
The more you explore in and outside of work or learning, the more creative ideas you will come up with. Take a look at your schedule every week and set out some time to just brainstorm and reflect on the work you have been doing. This will also allow you to take a break and deviate from the chain of your routine which may be stagnating you and making you unproductive.
2. MAKE IT HAPPEN
Don’t ever restrict your ideas to the thought itself. Once the ideas are finalized, plan the execution. Sort out the doable bits, gather all the resources, take the necessary permissions and make it happen!
3. STAY FOCUSED & AWAY FROM DISTRACTIONS
There is no way your creative thinking will align with the productivity you desire if you let yourself wander around a little too much with your thoughts. It is the same for your scheduled work. Make time and make a space in your mind and your surroundings for all of this to happen.
Most importantly, don’t forget to take a look at this Pathway that will help you navigate your way through creative thinking & simultaneous productivity.
